Yoga Behind Bars’ Power of Community 2021

For the third year in a row, the Yoga Behind Bars team partnered with GFS Events for their largest fundraiser of the year. After deciding to go virtual, the GFS team and Yoga Behind Bars staff worked together to introduce a virtual event different from the year before with one night filled with conversation and community. Our team was in charge of all aspects of the virtual fundraiser including a video production schedule, script creation, platform management, and content creation. The GFS team assisted in donor management and outreach, sponsorship support, and implementing a communications calendar. To celebrate the organization and help raise money, we joined in a yoga class followed by a 30-minute program where Teachers Behind Bars, staff, Board Members, and former Teachers Behind Bars shared their stories.
