For the second year in a row, GFS Events was contracted with the Washington Wildlife and Recreation Coalition for their annual breakfast. COVID-19 caused the annual breakfast to cancel and forced the GFS Events and WWRC team to transform the in-person event of over 400 outdoor aficionados to an engaging Celebration of Community & Conservation virtual fundraiser. Our week-long event included daily videos from Award Nominees, a Virtual Happy Hour Conversation with outdoor advocates including Sen. Ron Muzzall and Rep. Cindy Ryu and ended with a Public Lands Day Challenge. GFS Events created a strategic sponsorship and Virtual Trailblazer outreach plan that allowed the WWRC team to focus on cultivating their donors. By creating an engaging virtual event that included an extensive communication plan, the GFS Events and WWRC team were able to raise $212,052, 106% of the fundraising goal!

Fun Fact
We had four political representatives from different political parties who discussed land use and conservation in WA State. We also gave away some awesome prizes with a contest we played throughout the event.
