GFS Events was contracted to manage and execute Medic One Foundation’s Lifesavers’ Gala. This complicated 500 person event included an evening of fine dining, exciting auctions, raffles, dessert dash and a raise the paddle to raise money for our region’s firefighters and paramedics who respond every day to catastrophic disasters and medical emergencies. GFS Events coordinated procurement efforts, volunteer management and stage management for the event. The event was a Phantom of the Opera themed event and raised a record $550,000 for the Medic One Foundation.

True to the title of a First Responder, we had paramedics help us in all aspects of the event, from handing out wine to selling raffle tickets to helping clean up the entire ballroom and event in record time!
