Jewish Day School’s 2023 Auction & Gala

After two years of partnering for a virtual fundraiser, GFS Events and the Jewish Day School came together to bring their annual Auction & Gala back to an in-person celebration. Our team worked together with JDS to create a beautiful evening benefiting the students at the school. This event was unique in that we needed to work in conjunction with the school, hotel, and outside caterer to bring in a full-Kosher dinner. From our appetizers to our Dessert Dash, we ensured that everything was Vaad Certified. The Auction & Gala featured a wide variety of revenue generators. We featured a Buy It Now wall, an Almost Live, Golden Ticket Raffle, Dessert Dash, and a fabulous live auction. During the planning process, the GFS Events team implemented an event timeline, managed communications with vendors, and oversaw the creation and use of the registration platform. GFS Events also created the Run of Show and Script for the evening. At the Auction, the GFS team led both check-in and check-out for the event as well as acting as the overall stage manager.
