Families Unlimited Network’s Falling Into F.U.N. Hybrid Event

September 2022

GFS Events partnered with Families Unlimited Network for the third year in a row to manage their annual Falling Into F.U.N. fundraiser as a hybrid event. F.U.N. incorporated a virtual campaign in the days leading up to the in-person event. Each day, a video was shared to the Families Unlimited Network community highlighting the important work of the organization. The in-person event was an intimate gathering of sponsors, long-time donors, staff, and volunteers. The GFS Team managed the event timeline and logistics including virtual ambassador support and communication, fundraising platform management, script writing, and all venue and vendor logistics. The GFS Events team also created the run of show for the day of the event, oversaw catering and handled the day of registration management. Families Unlimited Network surpassed their $150,000 fundraising goal to provide support for children and families in need in Pierce County and University Place.
Fun Fact
This centerpieces for the in-person event was comprised of flowers and actual supplies that the organization provides through one of its programs.
We, at Families Unlimited Network, have used the team from GFS for our annual fundraising event in 2020, 2021, and 2022, and I anticipate we will use them again in the future. Our organization is very small and bringing on the expertise of Gazala and her staff was a game changer. Personalized fundraising strategy, step by step monthly to-do lists and regular meetings, continual help to achieve our goals. We successfully made the transition from live events to virtual events and exceed our goals dramatically because we actively implemented the guidance they gave to us. Great use of resources, would strongly recommend to any organization.
