GFS Events partnered with Eastside Baby Corner (EBC) for the second year to manage their annual Helping Kids Thrive fall fundraiser as a hybrid event. They incorporated a peer-to-peer fundraising campaign in the weeks leading up to the in-person event. The livestreamed event was attended by key donors and supporters, who enjoyed reconnecting and supporting Eastside Baby Corner. The GFS Team managed the event timeline and logistics including team captain and individual fundraiser support and communication, fundraising platform management, and sourcing items and suppliers for VIP donor and team captain gifts. We also created the run of show for the day of the event, oversaw catering and worked closely with the A/V vendor to ensure a seamless livestream production. EBC surpassed their $175,000 fundraising goal to help give kids experiencing homelessness, family disruption, poverty, and other inequities what they need for a Strong Start so they can grow, play, and be ready to learn.
