GFS Events was hired by Melodic Caring Project to assist with their 2020 Raise a Record Gala. GFS worked with MCP to deliver on tasks outlined on their timeline in addition to other tasks needed to complete the project. The team oversaw the auction procurement process, worked directly with table sponsors and board members, organized rentals and led communication with all vendors. GFS also assisted with developing and ordering branded guest gifts, tracked guest registrations, coordinated social media efforts and email marketing, aided in the design of the entire look and feel of the event including the table setting, floral arrangements, layout, etc. and managed the logistics around catering, the venue, the emcee, and volunteers.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we quickly needed to turn MCP’s complex event into a virtual live-streamed production and online fundraiser – as we were only 1.5 weeks away from their scheduled event date. GFS and MCP got the auction website up and running seven days prior to the original event date! Founders Levi and Stephanie Ware with their talented staff and board members, along with the Neptune Theatre staff pulled off an incredible live-streamed performance on the day we were supposed to hold their event! With great success, we were able to help MCP raise $128,250.
