This GFS Events team planned the event logistics, including creating lanyards that served as a guide for the unique event. This took guests on a journey through the J, with a progressive dinner spanning 6 of their early childhood classrooms. Each room respresented a specific color (with food and drink pairings that matched the rooms color scheme) to represent the J’s mosaics, which are a metaphor for the SJCC community: it is the sum of the individual parts that creates a beautiful, powerful whole.
During the planning process, the GFS Events team implemented an event timeline, managed communications with vendors, created event branding content, and oversaw the creation and use of the registration platform. GFS Events also created the Run of Show script and worked with the co-chairs to ensure their vision was brought into the event details. On the evening of the event, the GFS team managed and led both check-in and check-out for the event as well as acting as the overall stage manager.
