GFS Events was brought on to assist Youth Wise Mentoring with their in-person gala and due to COVID, we switched gears and created an online virtual gala and Week of Giving. We utilized a platform that allowed for team fundraising which was a great tool for their supporters and specifically their mentors to use to raise funds for Youth Wise. We also worked with ambassadors and created all event graphics for the event. We created email and social media marketing content. We assisted with creative video concepts. The virtual gala was conducted over Zoom and included featuring a story of one of the mentees in the program and two Minute-it-to-Win-it Games. We helped Youth Wise Mentoring raise 111% over their goal and actually raised more money virtually than they raised the prior year at their in-person event.

Fun Fact
The event one floor above us at the venue featured a piano player who complained that our jazz quartet was too loud until he decided to join forces with the quartet and started played the same music so he was in harmony rather than competing.
