Taste of the Valley 2015

July 2015

GFS chaired and managed the 5th Annual Taste of the Valley Benefit Auction benefitting the Snoqualmie Valley Preservation Alliance. The event included both a silent and live auction and tastes from the Pacific Northwest’s best restaurants. GFS managed all procurement, coordinated venue set-up, check-in and check-out procedures, and coordinated the restaurant and business sponsorships. GFS created an event timeline and coordinated all aspects of the auction to ensure a smooth evening and increased donations and dollars for the event. The event raised $135,000 which was a 38% increase in the previous year’s event.

Fun Fact
“As a content writer for nonprofit groups, Gazala contracted with my company to play a role in the Taste of the Valley event to benefit the Snoqualmie Valley Preservation Alliance. Professionally, it was a pleasure to watch Gazala coordinate the various loose ends and details to insure the event dinner and auction went off as the directors had envisioned at minimal cost to the organization. As a result of her detailed preparation and high standards, the event itself went off without a snag and the officers of the organization were able to dedicate themselves to the guests and the fundraising.”
