Taste of the Valley 2014

July 2014

GFS managed the 4th Annual Taste of the Valley Benefit Auction benefitting the Snoqualmie Valley Preservation Alliance. The event included both a silent and live auction and tastes from the Pacific Northwest’s best restaurants. GFS managed all procurement, coordinated venue set-up, check-in and check-out procedures, and coordinated the restaurant and business sponsorships. GFS created an event timeline and coordinated all aspects of the auction to ensure a smooth evening and increased donations and dollars for the event. The event raised $98,000 which was a 74% increase in the previous year’s event.

Fun Fact
“Gazala did an excellent job as the event chair for our annual auction. This was the fourth year for our organization, but the first time we hired Gazala. The results speak for themselves. Gazala helped us more than double our revenue. She also helped us build capacity for the future, so that we can continue to grow the event, and raise the much-needed funds to carry out our mission in the future.”

“Gazala and I worked together on the Taste of the Valley auction for the Snoqualmie Valley Preservation Alliance recently. I was so impressed! They more than TRIPLED the amount they had raised the previous year because of Gazala’s excellent connections and organization of volunteers. Those are results she can brag about! In addition, I heard people throughout the evening, including the auctioneer, say that this was one of the best events they had ever attended. High praise, indeed. Gazala takes the stress out of fundraising so the organizers can concentrate on getting out their message and connecting with people who will be strategic to the organization. I’m looking forward to working with Gazala on Business Theatre Live future projects.”
