GFS chaired and managed the Skihawks Racing Team’s Annual Livin’ the Dream Benefit Auction. The auction included both silent and live, raise the paddle, dessert dash, wine grab and a raffle. GFS coordinated procurement, general venue set-up, and check-in and check-out procedures. GFS coordinated all aspects of the auction to ensure a smooth evening. We helped to implement a sponsorship program and created a sponsorship package for the event.

“Having worked for and/or volunteered within non-profit organizations for over 30 years, I know it is not always easy to engage with an all-volunteer operation as a contractor for the first time. Gazala's infectious personality and positive energy, attention to the right details, and awareness of how best her services could be applied considering the Skihawks auction already had a strong track record with very capable volunteer leaders at the helm, sets her apart from others. She sees where the challenges lie and addresses them sensitively with the appropriate urgency to ensure as strong an outcome as possible. She is able to navigate limited resources and create necessary workarounds. And while she is effective supporting a relatively small organization, it is apparent her skills would easily translate to larger scale operations as well.
