This was our third year partnering with Seattle Peace Chorus on their annual fundraising event and our second year planning a virtual format. We assisted with all aspects of the event including sponsorship support, ambassador training, video coordination, script and story development, graphic design, dessert door dash organization, and fundraising platform creation. Our five-day online event encompassed empowering videos around non-violent communication, civil rights, gender equality, and other important social justice topics. We involved the community by asking local social justice advocates and leaders to partake in our event and encourage further support from people both near and far. Singer and Activist Cris Williamson was one of several incredible individuals who joined us for our event.

The necessity to pivot to an online event was something experienced by every non-profit organization since March 2020….and GFS guided us through this change with professionalism and resourcefulness. Indeed, we exceeded our financial goals for our last two events (2020 and 2021). Their tips about design and graphics and creative ideas were terrific, especially suggesting a multi-night event that was very successful and received a great deal of positive feedback. Beyond their organizational skills, they consistently demonstrated patience, humor and complete support. Sarah was always a good listener and rolled with whatever ideas we offered with openness and diplomacy. In short, SPC really does look forward to working with them again….
