Seattle King County NAACP Livestream 2021

October 2021

Seattle King County hired the GFS Events team to assist with their annual Freedom Fund fundraiser. Seattle King County NAACP’s theme for 2021 was Living the Legacy, where they honored the legacy of the past and celebrated the future of the branch. During the Week of Giving, the Seattle King County NAACP shared stories from each of their committees – Political Action, Econimic Development, ACTO-SO, Fred Hutch, Vice President, and President. GFS Events assisted in producing the Livestream, scripted the event, assisted with Virtual Ambassador and Sponsorship solicitation and organization, and donor outreach initiatives. The GFS Events team also created and managed the registration platform, implemented a communications calendar, and assisted with their peer-to-peer fundraising campaign.  Check out the livestream below!

Fun Fact
The livestream was held on the exact date of Seattle King County NAACP's 108th birthday!
It was such a joy and honor to partner with GFS for a second year to build the Seattle King County NAACP's annual fundraiser! The whole staff at GFS Events are creative, generous, kind, patient, and ready & able to rise to any challenge. Our hybrid event broke fundraising records and was so much fun to build and be a part of. In particular, GFS does so well to respond to changes and challenges. They were so flexible as we faced twists and uncertainties. They brilliantly found a way to build and rebuild the boat even while we were out at sea! The event was mission-driven, rooted in our community, and had an impact on more than just our revenue. The staff of GFS are truly lovely and brilliant people with whom I would be honored to work again!
