GFS Events was hired to work alongside Seattle Country Day School (SCDS) to transform their annual in-person fundraiser into an engaging virtual experience. SCDS hired GFS Events to coordinate all aspects of their livestream virtual event and online auction. GFS was in charge of platform management, vendor management, event logistics, and online auction organization. This event also had an interactive element using an online platform called Remo. This unique virtual platform allowed the SCDS community to explore different virtual tables while chatting with each other. Virtual tables were organized by topic which ranged from grade-specific networking to games and demonstrations from favorite teachers. Each of the attendees was given a Game On! Celebration box that included delicious treats and fun libations. Our team worked alongside SCDS to coordinate a successful event that brought together parents, staff, and students.

This spring, Seattle Country Day School set out to run a fundraising event with a truncated timeline and a great number of tasks, ranging from auction item procurement, to video creation, to the use of an online event platform. We greatly appreciated the group’s organizational skills, technological expertise, contacts, and events savvy, and together, we created a successful event in under four months. Thank you, GFS!
