Seattle Animal Shelter Foundation’s 2022 Furry 5k Fun Run & Walk

GFS Events contracted with the Seattle Animal Shelter Foundation to manage and produce their annual Furry 5k Fun Run & Walk for the 5th year, as it returned to an in-person format. The Furry 5K attracts thousands of two-legged runners accompanied by their four-legged companions. The race was followed by a Rainier Agility Team agility course, entertainment, festive music, awards and an interactive vendor area. GFS coordinated all aspects of the event including logistics, race logistics, collateral and vendor management and volunteer and staff coordination. We had over 1,300 runner and their furry companions attend the event. We surpassed our fundraising goal and raised over $115,000 for the Seattle Animal Shelter’s Help the Animals Fund.
