Northwest Behavioral Associates Art for Autism 2020

October 2020

GFS Events was planning a sophisticated and upscale in-person gala for Northwest Behavioral Associates bi-annual Art for Autism when COVID -19 forced the team to go virtual. GFS scaled-down the online auction and implemented a communications outline that focused on email marketing, audience development, video marketing, and virtual ambassador management in order to create a successful virtual fundraiser. We worked with the NBA team to edit the Virtual Fundraiser videos and create an engaging, heartfelt program for viewers. The week-long fundraising event culminated with a Virtual Cocktail Hour which included NBA families from across the country. We ultimately raised over $153,000 for NBA so they can continue to provide individualized therapy and education for children with autism and related disorders.
Fun Fact
We galvanized a team of volunteers to deliver gala packages to attendees. The gift bags were filled with treats, libations and hand-made art cards from students.
"GFS is the best in the business! We have done 2 events with Gazala and her team, and both times have been a positive experience. Everyone at GFS is a pleasure to work with; the staff are creative, insightful, professional, and very communicative. This year, we were well into planning an in-person event when we were faced with having to switch to going virtual. Thankfully, GFS didn't miss a beat, and they guided us into the world of virtual fundraising. If we didn't have GFS to lead the way, we likely would have just canceled the fundraiser and would be struggling to keep our doors open. We are so grateful to everyone from GFS who helped us put together a successful virtual event this year!"
