National Alliance on Mental Illness Statewide Walk 2013

GFS Events was engaged as the State Walk Manager for the 2013 Washington State Walk for the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI).

GFS coordinated all business sponsorships and assisted the walk Committee and the NAMI Board in best practices for securing sponsorships. We worked with Board and Walk Committee to introduce and implement new fundraising ideas and help teams with their fundraising goals. GFS coordinated all publicity for the Walk including social media, constant contact, website, print, television, and other media outlets. GFS raised over $65,000 in sponsorships which was the highest number of sponsorships ever raised for NAMI Washington in its 9 year walk history. GFS helped raise a total of over $200,000 overall for the Walk
