Hillel Community Day School’s Back to the Future Week of Giving 2021

Hillel Community Day School is a New York-based day school providing Judaic and general studies to students K – 8.  Hillel Community Day School hired GFS Events as a project manager and virtual event planner to create and manage their “Back to the Future” themed virtual fundraiser. Each day during the Week of Giving, the GFS Events team led the technical operations for multiple Zoom events and pre-recorded videos including; a live kick-off event, an alumni-led cooking class, in-depth panel discussion with alumni and current students, and prerecorded messages from faculty and current learners. In addition, the GFS team assisted with video layout and content for the pre-recorded aspect of the event. The GFS team created event-themed collateral including; a Blast From the Past Party Box, magnet, and invitations that included pictures from current and past students. GFS Events assisted with donation and registration platform management and creation. Together, the HCDS and GFS teams worked hard to create a fun, engaging event that raised almost $150,000, which was 150% of their goal!

Following the event, the one and only Christopher Lloyd gave a shoutout to the Head of School for the event!
