Buffalo Soldiers Museum’s Celebrating Buffalo Soldiers & Negro League Baseball Virtual Panel Discussion 2021

February 2021

Buffalo Soldiers Museum reached out to GFS Events to help them plan and execute their unique virtual panel discussion celebrating the Buffalo Soldiers and Negro League baseball. This event brought the community together to celebrate historical milestones while raising funds for their museum, community exhibits and youth educational programs. Rick Rizzs, play by play announcer for the Seattle Mariners, was the emcee and on the panel: Bill North (former Major League player), Aaron Pointer (American retired baseball player), Joe Staton (American retired baseball player), and Lyle Kenai Wilson (Research and writer). GFS assisted with email and social media marketing, created the event branding and slide deck, communicated with the emcee and panelists, set-up the Zoom panel discussion, and hosted the event.
Fun Fact
We had over 200+ years of combined baseball experience and know-how from our panel of former baseball players and awesome emcee, Rick Rizzs, the lead radio voice for Major League Baseball's Seattle Mariners.
GFS event planning , work and expertise were the keys to our successful virtual event. Thank you again.
