ILEA Espirit Awards 2019 Nominee

Client: Seattle Animal Shelter

GFS Events was brought back to work with the City of Seattle and Seattle Animal Shelter to manage and produce the 20th Annual Furry 5K. Each year, the Furry 5K attracts thousands of two-legged runners accompanied by their four-legged companions. The race was followed by a Rainier Agility Team agility course and a Noseworks demo, with entertainment, awards, and an interactive vendor area. GFS coordinated all aspects of the event including team captain recruitment, race logistics, social media, email marketing, sponsorship and vendor management and volunteer and staff coordination. We had over 1,800 runners accompanied with 1,000 furry companions attend the event to raise money for the Seattle Animal Shelter’s Help the Animals Fund. Find out more about the Furry 5K here.

GFS Events was once again contracted with the City of Seattle and Seattle Animal Shelter to manage and produce the 20th Annual Furry 5K. With two-legged and four-legged runners alike, the Furry 5K brought in thousands of participants to help raise money for the Help the Animals Fund. Client: Hepatitis Education Project

GFS Events was contracted to manage Hepatitis Education Project’s 25th Anniversary fundraiser and gala. We provided support around all aspects of the event including, budget management, venue logistics, registration, auction procurement and event design. The team also worked with Hepatitis Education Project to create the script and collateral including the multi-media slides and auction displays. GFS Events planned a first-ever mission-based silent auction which raised three times more revenue than their budgeted goal. Find out more about the Hepatitis Education Project here.

GFS Events managed the 7th Annual Taste of the Valley Benefit Auction benefitting the Snoqualmie Valley Preservation Alliance. The event took place in an open field on a working farm in Carnation. We had to bring in electricity, water, lighting and all rental equipment to turn the field into a gorgeous venue for the evening. The event included a silent and live auction and tastes from the Pacific Northwest’s best restaurants. Check out our event here.

The event took place in an open field on a working farm.  We had to bring in electricity, water, lighting and all rental equipment to turn the field into a gorgeous venue for the evening.  The event included a silent and live auction and tastes from the Pacific Northwest’s best restaurants. GFS managed all procurement, coordinated venue set-up, check-in and check-out procedures, and coordinated the restaurant sponsorships and permitting. We created an event timeline and coordinated all aspects of the auction to ensure a smooth evening and increased donations and dollars for the event. Check out our event here.
