GFS Events partnered with The Rose International Fund for Children for the second year in a row to help them create an exceptional fundraiser to help kids with disabilities in Nepal. The COVID pandemic was even more devastating in Nepal as so many of their basic medical needs were not being met. We created a week of giving fundraiser that incorporated incredibly moving videos from the students in Nepal as well as TRIFC’s board members and founders. The entire week culminated in a virtual happy hour event that provided a chance for over 80+ supporters from across the globe to participate and donate to the organization. We ultimately surpassed their fundraising dreams by raising over 105% over their goal!
“Working with Gazala, Sarah and the GFS team was incredibly helpful. They demystified this new world of ‘virtual’ fundraising events for our board of directors and volunteers, helping to set us up for success. They were responsive, collaborative and honest in getting us all to come to terms with the realities of fundraising in this virus-driven world. They listened to all of our concerns and inevitable ‘issues’ that come up in planning this type of event and I’m so glad that I (and our board) went with most of their suggestions resulting in a professionally managed event where we exceeded our fundraising goals. Initially, I didn’t feel we’d be able to raise that much money but happily, I was wrong! Thank you, GFS Events!”
