NW Canine Coalition planned to have their first-ever fundraising event this year, but after the announcement of COVID-19, NWCC hired GFS Events to make the transition from in-person to virtual. GFS Events and NWCC worked together to transform branding and marketing materials, update the auction platform, and create an engaging website to introduce the world to NWCC. GFS Events created donor, sponsor, and Virtual Ambassador communication templates, managed the online auction with over 60 items, and coordinated a Virtual Cocktail Hour with a “Raise The Bone” paddle raise. The GFS team also created a video schedule and script for the Bark at the Moon Week of Giving.

“Our organization was not yet a year old when we were one week away from launching our first fundraiser gala. And then the country, even the world, closed down due to a pandemic and we needed to postpone and possibly cancel altogether. Thank goodness, GFS Events reached out to us and helped us shift direction and guided us along the way so that we were able to launch our Bark at the Moon Virtual Week of Giving! The week was filled with adoptable dogs on the red carpet hosted by local talent, an online auction, and a virtual cocktail hour! All-in-all, it was a grand event and we raised enough money and awareness so that we may continue our mission of Shining a Light on Dogs in Need of a Home.”
