L’Arche Noah Sealth originally hired GFS Events to manage their in-person Benefit Dinner and auction, complete with their famous Core Member skit. L’Arche was in the middle of a change in leadership and needed GFS Events to keep the fundraiser on task and on target. The L’Arche team had to come to a very difficult decision to take the event virtual. This was a very community based event so the GFS Events team needed to create an engaging way for donors and families to connect. GFS Events implemented a virtual event timeline with important tasks and due dates, assisted in collateral creation, produced a communication outline with email marketing support, social media consultation and a video template with scripts. Together, we created an engaging week-long fundraiser that featured hand-crafted auction items created by the Core Members themselves, and the traditional Core Member skit. This Week of Giving brought the community together in celebration and raised over $100,000 for L’Arche Noah Sealth.
