For the second year, GFS Events contracted with JVC Northwest to plan and execute their annual fundraising luncheon. Taking measured precaution, the team collectively made the decision to shift their in-person event to an online fundraiser about 5 weeks before it was set to go live. GFS supported JVC Northwest with email and social media communication along with virtual ambassador training and assistance. GFS also assisted with video development and content strategy and a marketing campaign to turn their one day event into a week of giving. JVC Northwest exceeded their fundraising goals by 10%.

“Planning for our May 17 fundraiser in Seattle was well underway when the pandemic hit, and we could not postpone our largest fundraiser of the year. Gazala and her team at GFS Events were instrumental in helping us quickly pivot to a virtual format, allowing us enough time to put together a successful event. GFS presented a plan for a virtual kick-off event and week of giving that included a toolkit for virtual table captains, weekly communications leading up to the event, and daily videos from our supporters during the week of giving. I was so impressed with their creativity, strategic thinking, and the quality of communications. With their support and guidance, we exceeded our fundraising goal and exceeded expectations. I can’t thank GFS Events enough for helping to make our event a success – we couldn’t have done it without them!”
