GFS was contracted for the fifth year to assist with event management for the Joshua P. Williams Foundation’s Annual Golf Tournament and Gala Auction. This year’s COVID-19 pandemic turned the event virtual. We decided to eliminate the golf tournament completely and focus on a Week of Giving event. We helped the Foundation to raise $130,000. GFS coordinated vendor management, procurement, and event logistics for JPW Foundation’s online fundraiser. GFS Events managed Virtual Ambassador outreach, implemented communication templates, created the donor platform, and produced a Virtual Cocktail Hour & Raise the Paddle. The GFS team also created an in-depth schedule and script for the virtual happy hour.

GFS laid out a plan for a virtual event that included a WEEK OF GIVING and an opportunity to feature each of our six beneficiaries.
